What’s What: Get aboard Road Scholar’s first-ever floating campus and experience the Pearls of the Adriatic. Not-for-profit Road Scholar’s mission is to inspire adults to learn, discover and travel, opening minds to new ideas and deepening understanding of the world’s peoples, places, cultures, history and environments. At Amava, we want to connect you to opportunities to stay curious, get out there and meet new people. We believe this learning adventure more than checks the boxes: world-class lectures and excursions, exceptional value, convenience and a cohort of lifelong learners await. Not to mention Greece, Croatia, Albania and Italy!
Amava Take: You can be part of a maiden voyage when Road Scholar launches its first floating campus. Get right into the center of Greece and the Pearls of the Adriatic—Athens, Kalamata, Corfu, Dubrovnik, Venice and more—without having to unpack and pack up again. Your days will be filled with learning, food and fellowship. Take advantage of unique, expertly guided experiences as you enjoy the sites, meet like-minded people, and learn about the myths, history and legends while leaving the details to Road Scholar.
