Flexibility: High

Social Engagement: High

What’s What: If you want to get into the groove without dipping into your bank account, most music festivals are in need of volunteers. Volunteering at a music festival can mean free tickets, discounts and perks, as well as gaining an insight into how major events are put together. You’ll also meet some cool, like-minded fans and maybe even catch an up-close look at your favorite drummer.

Amava Take: It takes hard work and meticulous planning to pull off a music festival and the profit margin can be slim. To help ensure profits and prevent loss, most festivals have a robust volunteer staff. It’s a great way to plan out a summer of volunteer fun and travel and get into pricey events on the cheap.
