What’s the story behind HopSkipDrive?
HopSkipDrive began as the struggle of three working moms trying to get their busy kids to and from school and all their activities and has grown into a proven transportation solution that helps schools, families, organizations, and government agencies give kids easier access to the opportunities they deserve.
How does the HopSkipDrive app work?
CareDrivers can use the app to easily set their own schedule, select rides and set things up as much as 7 days in advance. The app provides GPS support so they know where they’re driving. It also gives them an estimate of how much they’ll earn and rider information. CareDrivers can track their earnings on the app as well.
Is there a support team for drivers to call on if needed?
Yes, HopSkipDrive has a Safe Ride Support team that provides live support while drivers are on the road.

What are the earnings like?
Drivers earn an average of $32 per hour.
Any special offers for Amava Members?
Yes! Amava CareDrivers are guaranteed to make $1000 in their first month if they complete 40 rides in 30 days. If their earnings are lower, HopSkipDrive will pay the difference.
Where does HopSkipDrive operate?
Currently, HopSkipDrive is operating in Northern California, Southern California, Colorado, Virginia/D.C., Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Phoenix, and Seattle. They’re preparing to launch many new markets, so sign up even if you don’t see yours on the list!
Special Requirements: HopSkipDrive is all about the safety of precious passengers, so they require CareDrivers to be at least 23 years old, have 5 years of caregiving experience, a good driving record and a 4-door vehicle that is no more than 10 years old. CareDrivers must also submit to a multi-agency background check, including fingerprinting.
