Special Requirements: In general, studios and fitness clubs are looking for experienced practitioners who have gone through some recognized training. That said, there is way more than one way to go about it. In the case of yoga, there are many styles and each has its own training modules. For general fitness, you can become certified in group cycling, pilates and more.

Finding a Position: Local job boards are full of these kinds of listings, but you can also check out specialized sites  and yoga job sites. The National Association of Certified Yoga Teachers and the Yoga Alliance offer information about certifications and workshops. NASM and ACE have information on how to become a certified personal trainer.
