We asked our Guides some fun questions to help you get to know them a bit better.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Trying to live each day with faithfulness to my passions and gifts, especially in respect and care for others.

What is your favorite job?

What makes a job a favorite for me is its ability to use my creativity, wisdom, and compassion. This includes teaching, retreat, SoulCollage, gardening and walking in nature.

What is your most treasured possession?

My home and garden by the Mississippi River.

What is your favorite journey?

I love to travel, however, my favorite journey is the one I take to visit my beloved nieces and nephews to simply catch up on life.

What is your greatest fear?

Dying alone.

Which talent would you most like to have?

Watercolor painting.

What do you most value in your friends?

Integrity, risk-takers, care and compassion…..and ready to explore something new on a whim!

Who is your favorite hero of fiction?

Amy, the Horse Whisper on Heartland.

Who are your heroes in real life?

My heroines in life are Shirley Chisholm, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, S. Peggy O’Neill, Zeni Fox, Carrie Newcomer and Mary Oliver.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

To guard my heart.

What are you looking forward to?

COVID being over!

What have you always wanted to try?

Wearing my hair in a French braid.

What do you do for fun? (or to relax)

Reading, gardening, SoulCollage, engaging in deep conversations with friends.

What is your favorite dessert?

Macaroons
